• The Worcester Red Sox have retired the uniform Number 6. The Worcester 6 will only and eternally pay tribute to those killed in the December 3, 1999 fire. Further, in tribute to the 6 who have been killed in the line of duty, we will provide 6 tickets to friends and family of fallen firefighters at each home game at Polar Park.
